Have your say on options to reduce emissions from organic waste

Overview

The Ministry for the Environment sought feedback on options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from organic waste, as part of the Government’s second Emissions Reduction Plan.

The Sector Feedback Document outlines a range of potential measures to reduce emissions from organic waste.

We asked for your views on:

  • your experience and needs in managing organic waste
  • the feasibility of the options presented
  • where the greatest emissions reductions could be achieved.
