What do you think are the most important things to be considered in the development of the emissions reduction plan?
This needs to be taken seriously. The future of our kids are dire of we don't step up now.
Be bold. Enforce change.
Tax the rich more.

2. What new initiatives would you include in an emissions reduction plan for Aotearoa?

Tell us how you and your community will be impacted by the proposals in the Emissions Reduction Plan discussion document
Going waste free and the role NZ will have in recycling within NZ. Eliminate single use plastics.
Marine permaculture to expand carbon sinks into areas of marine desert
Government incentives to install solar panels on private homes and share excess back into grid.
Build more renewable power generators. Consider tidal power generation.
Establish green standards for everything entering NZ, including ships entering our waters.
Revise permitted fishing methods to reduce carbon produced in that process.
Immensely increase NZs renewable power generation and produce cleanly liquid hydrogen for within NZ, and exporting.
Provide assistance to make existing NZ homes warmer. Increase standards for rentals and government housing.
